[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 22 real estate transaction order assistants in the second half of the year to crack down on illegal activities in real estate transactions such as planned real estate and price collusion.
The fixed-term workers, real estate transaction order assistants, will perform practical tasks such as ▲investigating illegal (evasive) acts of planned real estate ▲preventing and guiding real estate price collusion and false listings ▲investigating real estate transaction reports.
They will work from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for four months from next month to November, and their workplaces will be Gyeonggi Provincial Government and eight city and district offices including Yeongtong District Office in Suwon City.
Wages will be paid according to the Gyeonggi Province living wage ordinance, with the Gyeonggi Province living wage (hourly wage of 10,364 KRW) applied.
The recruitment period is from the 3rd to the 10th of this month, and anyone who is a resident of Gyeonggi Province or a student (including those on leave) at a university located in Gyeonggi Province can apply.
In particular, additional points will be given to residents in the province who are students (including those on leave) or graduates of real estate-related departments.
The province will select the final successful candidates through a first document screening and a second interview screening process. The final successful candidates can be confirmed on the Gyeonggi Provincial Government website after 3 p.m. on the 27th.

An official from the province explained, "The real estate transaction order assistants are being recruited to fill the shortage of manpower in eradicating illegal activities in real estate transactions, establish sound real estate transaction order, and contribute to creating public jobs."
Meanwhile, in the first half of this year, the province hired 18 real estate transaction order assistants, investigated 11,110 actual real estate transactions, and conducted prevention and guidance on 993 false real estate listings.
