Martial Arts, 'Online Consulting for Entry into Promising Russian Market' Held

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea International Trade Association held an 'Online Consulting for Entering the Promising Russian Market' event at COEX, Samseong-dong on the 1st.

At the event, four experts in cosmetics, food, and logistics provided one-on-one online consulting to 19 Korean companies from Russia.

Jeon Myung-soo, CEO of RusEconomic, who was in charge of consulting on the Far East food market, stated, "With the rise of stay-at-home culture due to COVID-19, the e-commerce market is rapidly growing," and emphasized, "We need to target the Russian market through online shopping mall entry and online marketing using social networking services (SNS)."

Kim Bo-hyun, CEO of 'Bonya's Pouch,' a YouTube channel introducing Korean cosmetics to Russians, and Park Da-hoon, CEO of RusKorea, specializing in marketing Korean food such as CJ's Bibigo in Russia, also participated in the consulting.

Meanwhile, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Korea-Russia diplomatic relations this year, the Trade Association is holding a series of 'Russia Business The Next Step' events, following the Russia and New Northern Intellectual Property Response Online Seminar held in June, the one-on-one consulting today, and a one-on-one startup meetup event with Russian IT company Yandex on the 10th.
