[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] NextBT, a KOSDAQ-listed company, announced on the 30th that it distributes and sells domestically produced protective suits to overseas countries including the United States.
The protective suit "Next Care" sold by NextBT is a Level D product that meets the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO). Following the relaxation of import regulations in the United States, the company quickly completed the product export approval process and registered it as Medical Class 1 with the U.S. FDA (Food and Drug Administration). The FDA classifies products into levels 1 through 3 based on their impact on the human body.
Next Care is a protective suit made by combining polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). It possesses the durability and breathability advantages of each fabric and can perfectly block droplets, chemical substances, chemical solutions, blood, and more.
The company is proceeding with the CE (European Conformity) certification process following FDA registration. Once CE certification is obtained, it is expected to be possible to export to major markets with high demand for protective suits, such as the U.S. and European markets. A company representative stated, “As the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is increasing worldwide, global demand for protective suits is also rising,” and added, “We will strive to contribute to suppressing the spread of COVID-19 through seamless product exports.”
