According to Gwangsan Fire Station on the 30th, Chief Lim will begin full-scale duties starting next month on the 1st.
Since entering the fire service in 1987, Chief Lim has held key positions including Head of Field Response at Seobu Fire Station, Prevention Guidance Officer at the Fire Safety Headquarters, Acting Director of the 119 Comprehensive Situation Room, and Head of Fire Administration at the Fire Safety Headquarters.
He is highly regarded as a respected commander with excellent leadership and management skills by juniors, emphasizing communication and harmony among staff, backed by extensive firefighting experience and inspiring leadership.
Chief Lim of Gwangsan Fire Station said, “As COVID-19 cases continue to spread nationwide, and recently confirmed cases have occurred in the Gwangju area, concerns about community infection spread are increasing. We will prioritize strengthening proactive response activities to protect citizens' safety and do our best during my tenure to contribute to making the city a happy and safe place for its residents.”
