[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] On the 30th, Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the Future United Party, announced that he had introduced the first bill, the 'Lotto Employment Prevention Act,' to prevent a second Incheon International Airport Corporation (In-gukgong) incident.

This bill was co-sponsored by 21 members of the National Assembly, including members belonging to the youth issue-solving group 'Yojeumgeotdeul Research Institute.'

The Lotto Employment Prevention Act mandates that public enterprises like Incheon Airport, public institutions, and local public enterprises disclose their hiring procedures and methods and require open competitive examinations when recruiting employees. It also prohibits special preferential hiring of family members and acquaintances of executives, employees, and labor unions.

Representative Ha stated, "The Moon administration and the Democratic Party have brought despair to the youth through the In-gukgong lotto regularization, and they are even blaming the cause of the incident on misunderstandings by the youth." He pointed out, "There is even fake news spreading that security screening staff directly employed by In-gukgong receive only 35 million or 38 million won, despite the fact that they earn at least 43 million won annually."

He emphasized, "I am not opposed to the regularization of non-regular workers, but principles must be reestablished. The principle of regularizing non-regular workers is that positions can be converted, but automatic conversion of people is not allowed, and open competition must be conducted."
