Coupang Launches 'Seller Academy' to Support Small Business Success

Video Lecture Production Containing the Secrets to Sales Success

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Coupang announced on the 30th that it will launch an online lecture series called "Seller Academy," which contains the necessary information for individual and small-scale sellers to achieve successful sales on its open market "Marketplace."

The Seller Academy was established with the purpose of helping sellers who are new to the open market or small business owners struggling to enter the online market strengthen their competitiveness. It provides more accurate techniques for sales management and revenue growth through actual sellers and Coupang's internal experts.

The lectures are mainly divided into two topics. First, "Practical Sales Know-how from Successful Sellers" is a lecture where participants can learn the know-how of experienced sellers who have gone through trial and error and found their own methods. Park Eun-ah, CEO of Moms and an active Coupang Marketplace Ambassador, and Jo Yong-il, CEO of Ellen Jewelry, have joined to provide support. In addition, mentors from various fields reveal strategies that have helped increase sales. "Coupang Sales Consultants Teach Coupang Sales Techniques" is designed with a useful curriculum so that even beginners unfamiliar with the open market can easily learn the basics of selling.

All lectures will be posted on the official Coupang Marketplace website and YouTube channel. Even those who are not sellers registered with Coupang can freely access helpful information for entering the open market. The videos are planned to be short, around 10 minutes, so that beginners can easily engage without burden.
