[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] On the 29th (local time), U.S. President Donald Trump shared a video on Twitter showing a white man and woman, presumed to be a couple, aiming guns at a 'Black Lives Matter' protest march.

On that morning, President Trump retweeted an ABC News video on his Twitter account showing a white man and woman pointing guns at protesters in front of a residential area in St. Louis, Missouri.

The video shows a white man aiming a rifle and shouting at protesters in front of a house in Central West End, an upscale neighborhood in downtown St. Louis, while pointing his finger. A white woman standing beside him also holds a handgun and aims it at the protesters in support.

The 30-second video is reported to have been recorded the previous evening.

ABC reported that this incident occurred during a march where protesters were demanding the resignation of St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson.

Mayor Krewson had revealed the names and addresses of citizens who sent her letters demanding "cut the police budget" during an online Facebook briefing on the 26th, which sparked public backlash.

Bloomberg News reported, "President Trump retweeted the ABC News video without any comment, appearing to support the couple's stance."

On the 28th, President Trump also retweeted a video of supporters shouting white supremacist slogans but deleted it after three hours.
