Operating Every Weekend from July 3 to December 21
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Kia Motors announced on the 28th that it will hold a weekend test drive event to allow customers to directly experience the excellence of electric vehicles. The event will be held in a total of 24 sessions every weekend from December 3rd to December 21st, with a total of 34 electric vehicles (7 Soul EVs and 27 Niro EVs) available per session.
The test drives will last for 3 nights and 4 days, from Friday to Monday. Customers who respond to the survey after the test drive will receive benefits such as a Starbucks gifticon worth 13,000 KRW and an additional 100,000 KRW discount when purchasing a Kia electric vehicle within 3 months after the test drive ends.
Reservations for test drives can be made on a first-come, first-served basis by entering the desired test drive schedule, application story, and vehicle pickup location through the Kia Motors website by the application deadline for each session.
A Kia Motors official said, "This test drive event will be a great opportunity for more customers to directly experience Kia electric vehicles," adding, "We will hold various events to share Kia’s future vision of transitioning to an electric vehicle business system by 2025 and leading the popularization of electric vehicles with our customers."
Meanwhile, Kia Motors has been operating various electric vehicle-related programs, including launching the electric vehicle purchase program ‘Switch On’ last February.
