On the 25th, IA Networks and Infraware announced that they signed a strategic business agreement related to the bio business with DKD&I.
Through this partnership, the three companies agreed to form the ‘DI (tentative name) Consortium’ to promote new bio-related businesses and jointly acquire production facilities, companies, patents, and licenses necessary for the business.
An IA Networks official said, “We plan to expand our business area to bio, a future new growth industry, together with our subsidiary Infraware,” adding, “We will form a consortium with DKD&I, who share the same vision, to proactively lead the bio business.”
IA Networks is engaged in the QRNG (Quantum Random Number Generator) chipset packaging business, which is a core technology of quantum security. They developed an ultra-small QRNG chipset packaging technology measuring 2.5x2.5x0.8mm and supplied the QRNG chipset to the world’s first quantum-secure 5G smartphone, the ‘Galaxy A Quantum.’
Infraware is an office software specialist company that developed ‘Polaris Office.’ Recently, with the spread of remote work due to COVID-19, Polaris Office’s global subscribers surpassed 100 million. Based on this 100 million network, they are strengthening their attack on the ‘collaboration tool platform’ market, a non-face-to-face work system.
DKD&I is a specialized company in steel drum and steel manufacturing. On the 18th, they announced the issuance of convertible bonds (CB) worth 13 billion KRW to be used for new business investment and operating funds.
