Kang Dong-won on Recent Visual Controversy: "I'm Getting Older Now..." Photo by YouTube channel 'MonoTube'

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Actor Kang Dong-won shared his recent status via YouTube Live.

On the 20th, Kang Dong-won conducted a YouTube Live broadcast through the YouTube channel 'MonoTube.' Despite the live broadcast starting without any special announcement about Kang Dong-won's appearance, over 2,000 viewers quickly tuned in.

During the live interview following a photo shoot, Kang Dong-won addressed the visual controversy that arose at the press conference for the movie "Peninsula." He said, "My face was swollen that day, and I wasn't feeling well," adding, "Now that I'm getting older, there are times like this and times like that."

When asked about his MBTI, he answered 'INTJ.' Regarding the trait of "disliking clich?d and trivial small talk," he agreed, saying, "I joke a lot, but generally, I only say what needs to be said."

In response to a live comment asking, "What is your hobby these days?" he replied, "I live for watching baseball. My hometown is Changwon, so I am a fan of the NC Dinos." To the question, "When do you get old, hyung?" he answered, "I'm gradually finding it harder too."

Then, while promoting the movie "Peninsula," Kang Dong-won amused viewers by presenting a two-line acrostic poem saying, "Peninsula, this movie, doratne (crazy)."

Finally, Kang Dong-won said, "Everyone is going through difficult times, so let's all, including you and me, stay strong and overcome this," and added, "I hope we get through it well."
