Sikgwon Daejang Supplies Mobile Meal Voucher Solution to Hyundai Oilbank Daesan Plant

Mobile Meal Vouchers Expanding from Seoul Metropolitan Companies to Regional Industrial Complexes

Sikgwon Daejang Supplies Mobile Meal Voucher Solution to Hyundai Oilbank Daesan Plant

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Mobile meal vouchers, which were primarily operated by companies in the Seoul metropolitan area, are spreading to local industrial complexes. Bendis (CEO Jo Jeong-ho), which operates the corporate mobile meal voucher solution 'Sikgwon Daejang,' announced on the 23rd that it will supply Sikgwon Daejang to Hyundai Oilbank, Hyundai Chemical·and Hyundai OCI located in Daesan Industrial Complex, Seosan-si, Chungnam Province.

As a result, after Hyundai Oilbank and Hyundai Chemical's Seoul offices first introduced Sikgwon Daejang in 2015 and 2017 respectively, the solution has now expanded to their headquarters' factories. This service supply is targeted at employees residing in single-person dormitories of the three affiliates. The existing method of dining at nearby restaurants using meal ledgers during times when the factory cafeteria is unavailable, such as nights and holidays, has been switched to Sikgwon Daejang.

Employees can receive meal allowances from the company through the Sikgwon Daejang app and make payments at nearby restaurants. This eliminates the administrative work of manually checking and settling ledgers kept at each restaurant every month, and the number of available restaurants has increased compared to before, which is expected to improve employee meal satisfaction.

Jo Jeong-ho, CEO of Bendis, said, "When we first introduced the concept of corporate mobile meal vouchers in Korea in 2014 and pioneered the market, most demand was from companies in the Seoul metropolitan area, but since last year, requests for Sikgwon Daejang adoption from local companies have steadily increased." He added, "In particular, this service supply is also a case of expansion into industrial complex areas where traditional corporate meal allowance management methods are still widely used, so the advancement of Sikgwon Daejang into local companies is expected to gain more momentum."
