[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] According to Nielsen Korea, the nationwide viewership rating for the first episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Convenience Store Saetbyeol,' which aired on the 19th, recorded 6.3%.

In this episode, the relationship between the handsome store manager Choi Dae-hyun (played by Ji Chang-wook) and part-timer Jeong Saetbyeol (played by Kim Yoo-jung) began.

Choi Dae-hyun, who runs a convenience store in the neighborhood, was struggling to keep the store afloat due to low sales, managing it with his family. Just as he was about to collapse from continuous work, a part-time job applicant appeared. It was Jeong Saetbyeol, a delinquent high school student he had met three years ago.

During the part-time job interview, Choi Dae-hyun could not resist sleepiness caused by overnight work. When he came to his senses, Jeong Saetbyeol was working at the convenience store in his place.

The clumsy store manager Choi Dae-hyun and Jeong Saetbyeol, who took control of him, formed a striking contrast that captivated viewers.

At the end of the broadcast, Choi Dae-hyun rushed over after receiving a tip that Jeong Saetbyeol was having a party with her friends at his convenience store.

Then, Choi Dae-hyun reacted, "Trying to stick a straw in my convenience store?" and Jeong Saetbyeol’s bright welcome raised expectations for the future developments.
