[Asia Economy Reporter Park Soyeon] Jung Ki-sun (38), vice chairman of Hyundai Heavy Industries and the eldest son of Jung Mong-joon, chairman of the Asan Foundation and third generation of the Hyundai family, will get married in early July.
According to the business community on the 18th, Vice Chairman Jung is expected to hold a wedding ceremony on July 4 at a location in Seoul with a talented individual who recently graduated from a prestigious private university in Seoul.
Born in 1982, Vice Chairman Jung graduated from Daewon Foreign Language High School and Yonsei University with a degree in economics, and earned a master's degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business in the United States.
He worked at Boston Consulting Group and Credit Suisse Group in the U.S., joined Hyundai Heavy Industries in 2013, served as manager and executive director, and was promoted to vice chairman in 2017.
