[Smart Summer Living] Stoneage and Magumagu Are Just the Same as Playing on PC

[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Netmarble is accelerating the strengthening of its own intellectual property (IP), led by the new mobile title 'Stoneage World.'

According to Netmarble on the 19th, 'Stoneage World,' released the day before, is a game that reinterprets the original PC game 'Stoneage' IP into a mobile turn-based MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game). 'Turn-based' refers to a combat system where players take turns fighting each other. This game emphasizes the fun of capturing and collecting over 250 pets and has enhanced communication features among users.

Earlier, on March 12, Netmarble confirmed the potential success of its own IP titles by launching the battle royale MMORPG 'A3: Still Alive.' It ranked first in the Apple App Store popularity chart within five hours of starting pre-downloads and has consistently maintained a high position in Google Play's revenue rankings.

Netmarble plans to release major titles using its own IP in the second half of the year as well. The mobile baseball game 'Magumagu 2020' is also one of the anticipated IP titles, aiming for a third-quarter release. The plan is to allow players to enjoy the fun of Magumagu on mobile, including real-time matches where pitchers and batters engage in strategic battles.

Two games using Netmarble's flagship IP 'Seven Knights,' 'Seven Knights Time Wonderer' and 'Seven Knights 2,' are also scheduled for release in the second half of the year. 'Seven Knights Time Wonderer' is attracting industry attention as Netmarble's new challenge in the console market. 'Seven Knights 2' features differentiated gameplay from traditional MMORPGs by allowing players to collect various heroes and engage in group battles.
