Jaeminnan Tour Presents Healing and Safe Travel Packages to Overcome COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Yong-jun, Travel Specialist] Travel products themed around cleanliness, healing, and safety are attracting attention as a way to overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Jaeminan Tour, located in Busan, has launched a 1-night 2-day travel package called "A Very Special Night" to overcome COVID-19. This package operates on a small scale of 2 to 9 people, such as families, friends, and couples, focusing on cleanliness, healing, and safety. It is composed of quiet outdoor locations that are less known rather than indoor or well-known tourist spots. In particular, travelers can enjoy a safe trip from COVID-19 by using completely independent accommodations and sanitized vehicles separate from other tourists.
The main products are "Thumbs Up! A Very Special Night, Yacht Stay," which combines a Busan yacht tour and yacht stay, and "Thumbs Up! A Very Special Campervan Stay."
The main itinerary departs daily at 10 a.m. from Busan Station and Gimhae Airport, covering Gijang Nopsan, a filming location for movies and dramas, Gijang Waveon Coffee Shop, Baseball Lighthouse and Baby Bottle Lighthouse photo zones, yacht tour, yacht stay, and campervan stay courses. Especially, the night views of Gwangandaegyo Bridge and Marine City, which can be seen while staying on the yacht, allow travelers to fully enjoy their trip.
For the campervan stay, there is a special event where tour participants shop at Gijang traditional market and post photos of the dinner table they prepare using the ingredients on Jaeminan Tour’s website and SNS to receive prizes.
Additionally, in May, Jaeminan Tour’s developed "Busan West Busan Tour" was selected as a representative travel product of Busan in a travel product contest hosted by Busan City and Busan Tourism Organization.
"Busan West Busan Tour" is themed around ecology and nature tourism, with all schedules outdoors, focusing on family trips with children.
The course includes Eulsukdo Estuary Eco Center, Amisan Observatory with beautiful sunset views, Dadaepo Beach and Mowoondae, Gadukdo Oeyangpo Village and fortification sites, and the "Queen Heo Hwang-ok’s Wedding Road," which tells the love story of King Kim Suro of Geumgwan Gaya and Queen Heo Hwang-ok. This is the first time the Queen Heo Hwang-ok’s Wedding Road has been offered as a travel product.
Jaeminan Tour has established a COVID-19 response system including vehicle disinfection, twice-daily temperature checks, mask verification, and provision of individual bottled water. To strengthen non-face-to-face measures, no guides accompany the tours, but promotional materials and videos of the courses are provided to help explain the tourist sites.
Furthermore, participants will be eligible for a lottery to receive admission and experience tickets for Busan tourist facilities, accommodation vouchers, and, when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted and overseas travel becomes possible, airline tickets to China and Russia.
A representative of Jaeminan Tour said, "In response to travel psychology contraction caused by COVID-19, we created accommodation products using yachts and campervans that can provide safe and comfortable travel." He added, "Spending a night on a fantastic luxury yacht after a yacht tour in Haeundae, Busan, and a night in a campervan at a public beach will offer unforgettable beautiful memories for a lifetime."
Jaeminan Tour is the Korean branch of Spring Travel International Group, which has headquarters in China and Russia.
