[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Jeonnam Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency (Director Lee Jun-geun, hereinafter referred to as the Promotion Agency) announced on the 16th that the 'Jeonnam Youth Tomorrow JOB Camp' it is promoting is becoming a much-needed relief in the youth employment market, which has been frozen due to severe employment difficulties and COVID-19.

By cultivating so-called 'prepared workers' specialized in recruitment fields, it is evaluated that the program contributes to a healthy job culture through continuous job linkage for job-seeking youth in the Jeonnam region and stable job creation.

The recruitment interviews were conducted in a way that youth workers took interviews on-site, with participation from companies, institutions, and organizations in the province that had hiring intentions.

A separate booth was also set up to support interview success by providing guidance on writing job applications, resumes, and self-introductions, as well as image-making support to prepare for interviews for youth workers.

Youth job seekers participating in the 'JOB Camp' attended job competency enhancement and qualification acquisition courses, as well as leadership courses, four times last month and earlier this month across Jeonnam, achieving short-term intensive competency enhancement to increase employment success rates.

At the 'JOB Camp' held over two days on the 10th and 11th at Naju Jungheung Gold Spa Resort, the interview matching event was successfully conducted with the participation of 50 companies and organizations in the province and over 60 youth job seekers, leading directly to recruitment connections.

In particular, to prevent COVID-19 infection and ensure safety, the event was safely operated by dividing into two recruitment halls and one online recruitment hall, establishing a thorough quarantine network including minimizing contact, maintaining distance, and installing thermal cameras. Booths for interview image training, personal color analysis, job application consulting, and interview makeup support were also operated.

Youth job seeker Bae Yong-ryeol (31), who participated in the 'JOB Camp,' said, "After the Tomorrow project ended, when I was troubled by job concerns, I came across and participated in the JOB Camp event. The company where I actually had an interview expressed a hiring intention saying they want to work together, so I am happily considering it." He expressed gratitude and satisfaction, saying, "I think participating in the Jeonnam Youth Tomorrow for over a year, gaining sufficient job experience and preparation, led to my employment."

A representative of the Promotion Agency stated, "Even after the project ends, we will focus on continuous post-employment support through ongoing job matching for youth who wish to seek employment."
