Revealed Through National Assembly Work Report
Unification Minister Kim Yeon-cheol stated on the 16th, "We will strictly enforce current laws such as the Police Officer Duty Execution Act and make every effort to block the distribution of leaflets to North Korea."
Minister Kim appeared at the National Assembly Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee plenary session that day and reported, "The government consistently maintains its position to stop the distribution of leaflets and goods to North Korea."
Minister Kim emphasized again, "Recently, North Korea has been sensitive to the distribution of leaflets and goods to North Korea by civilian organizations," adding, "The government will respond strictly based on the position that the distribution of leaflets and goods to North Korea causes tension between the South and North and damage to border areas, and therefore must be stopped."
