[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon criticized the report on the 15th that a whistleblower from the Future Development Institute (Miraeyeon), affiliated with the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation, was disciplined for criticizing Yoo Si-min, chairman of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation, saying, "I really want to hear Yoo Si-min's view on this incident."
On the same day, Jin posted on his Facebook, saying, "If former President Roh had known that such a thing happened at the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation, he probably would have been furious," expressing his opinion.
Regarding the whistleblower eventually submitting a resignation letter to the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation, he said, "It must have been a psychological shock as if a familiar world suddenly became strange and everything collapsed," adding, "I have experienced it too, so I roughly know how it feels."
He continued, "The spirit of Roh Moo-hyun has disappeared somewhere, leaving only his brand being used here and there," and criticized, "Power seems to be everywhere. It even exists in the foundation commemorating a president who was more than anyone else cautious and critical of power."
Finally, he added, "I really want to hear Yoo Si-min's view on this incident. Will he now admit that he has become the very monster they once tried to repel? I am curious," he concluded.
