Gangnam-gu 'Ontact Healing Performance' to Enjoy at Home on Weekend Evenings

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) will hold an online "ONtact" healing performance every Saturday at 8 PM starting from the 13th to satisfy the cultural needs of residents exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

This performance is a non-face-to-face event held at the Gangnam Healing Center in Samseong-dong, scheduled to open in July, as an effort to revitalize the cultural and artistic community of the local area in the post-COVID-19 era.

On the 13th, Grooveus, Jonyeok, and the Gangnam Symphony Orchestra participated, presenting a variety of music including saxophone, vocals, and a woodwind quintet.

The "ONtact" healing performance will feature 53 teams from the "2020 Gangnam Happiness Concert" and the 365-day "FUN&PAN" performance teams, providing enjoyable content to residents every Saturday evening.

The performances can be viewed through Gangnam-gu Office's SNS channels such as YouTube, blog, and Facebook, and starting from the 20th, they will also be available on IPTV, satellite broadcasting, and cable broadcasting via "Consumer TV."

Ha Cheol-seung, head of the Post-COVID-19 TF team, said, "Through collaboration among Gangnam-gu's cultural and artistic departments, we plan to conduct performances online that were suspended due to COVID-19," adding, "We will actively promote various online performances so that residents can overcome COVID blues and enjoy culture suitable for the post-COVID-19 era."
