Toyota Hosts 'Hybrid Fuel Efficiency Race'... Open to Anyone with a Driver's License

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Toyota Korea announced on the 10th that it will hold the "Toyota Hybrid Fuel Efficiency Race" at 24 dealer showrooms nationwide until the 31st of next month.

This event was planned to promote the eco-friendliness of hybrids to a wider audience. Anyone with a driver's license can participate in the "Fuel Efficiency Race," an engaging theme where they can test drive various Toyota hybrid vehicles and experience fuel-efficient driving.

The participant who achieves the highest fuel efficiency will receive an electric bicycle worth approximately 1.5 million KRW as a prize. Additionally, the top three fuel efficiency record holders at each of the 24 dealer showrooms nationwide will receive small prizes weekly. Haagen-Dazs ice cream is also provided at each showroom for event participants.

Daehwan Kang, Executive Director of Toyota Korea, said, "We hope this fuel efficiency race event will provide an opportunity to directly experience the eco-friendliness and excellent fuel efficiency of Toyota hybrid vehicles," and added, "We look forward to the participation of many people interested in hybrids."
