[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Samyook University announced on the 8th that Lee Joon-tae, head of the General Affairs and Personnel Team, received the Presidential Citation at the '2020 Labor Day Merit Government Award Ceremony.' Team Leader Lee is a personnel expert responsible for the university's general affairs and personnel tasks. He contributed to converting non-regular workers to regular and indefinite-term contract workers, reemploying retirees as contract workers, and fully revising the employment regulations to operate annual leave in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) this year, the Seoul area award ceremony for Labor Day Merit Government Awards was held on the 4th, about a month later than usual.
