12 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed at Japanese Host Club... Signs of Resurgence

According to local media on the 7th, among the 26 newly confirmed cases in Tokyo the previous day, 12 were male hosts working at the same host club in Shinjuku. They are in their 20s to 30s, and all are reported to have different residences.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is investigating the infection routes, considering it a cluster infection.

As Tokyo has extended the recommended closing time for restaurants and entertainment establishments from 8 PM to 10 PM, and various commercial facilities are gradually reopening, concerns are growing that COVID-19 may spread again.
