[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon]As the untact (contactless) consumption culture spreads recently, the number of ‘home cafe enthusiasts’ who enjoy making coffee and desserts at home rather than visiting cafes is increasing. Recipes for cafe menus such as Dalgona coffee and scones have become widely known through SNS, raising consumers' interest in small kitchen and home appliances.

The famous Dalgona coffee recipe, which requires stirring 400 times, can be made even more easily using the Tefal fully automatic espresso machine ‘Evidence’ and the Tefal hand blender ‘Quickchef’.

Press the 'Espresso' one-touch menu on the Evidence to extract 40ml of espresso, then put 2 tablespoons of espresso and 6 tablespoons of sugar into a container. Attach the whisk to the Tefal hand blender Quickchef and mix until it becomes a viscous cream.

Once the cream is completed, press the steam milk menu on the Evidence espresso machine to make steamed milk with soft milk foam. Place the prepared Dalgona cream on top of the finished steamed milk to complete.

Quickchef has a powerful and durable 730W motor that allows you to mix various ingredients easily without effort, and it is perfect for making Dalgona cream with up to 20 levels of speed control.

The scone recipe, which can be easily made using an air fryer, is also gaining popularity on SNS. The ingredients needed are 95g butter, 300g all-purpose flour, 6g baking powder, 55g sugar, 3g salt, 1 egg, 5g coffee grounds, 3g instant coffee, and 10g milk.

The method is simple. Dissolve the instant coffee in milk. Prepare the butter cold and cut it into appropriate sizes. Sift the all-purpose flour and baking powder, then crumble the butter finely and mix evenly with the flour.

Add sugar, salt, egg, coffee dissolved in milk, and coffee grounds to the mixed dough and mix well. Put the mixed ingredients in a plastic bag and rest in the refrigerator. After resting, roll out the scone dough with a rolling pin, cut into bite-sized pieces, and bake in the Tefal low-fat fryer Ultimate set at 160℃ for about 15 minutes to complete.
