Michuhol-gu, Incheon City, announced on the 6th that a public official A (42), working at the main office, tested positive for COVID-19.
A was recently identified as having supported quarantine activities at places such as churches, and the district completed specimen tests on employees who had direct or indirect contact with A by the afternoon of the previous day. The district will decide whether to close the government building based on the test results.
This is the third case of a public official testing positive in Incheon. In March this year, a public official affiliated with Ongjin-gun, Incheon City, tested positive, and on the 2nd of this month, two public officials affiliated with Bupyeong-gu, Incheon City, were confirmed positive for COVID-19.
