According to the district on the 6th, until the 18th of this month, product explanation sessions that can gather many participants related to door-to-door sales of medical devices and health supplements are prohibited.
This measure follows the recent mass outbreak of confirmed COVID-19 cases at the health product door-to-door sales company 'Richway' located in Gwanak-gu, Seoul.
In Incheon as well, related to Richway, a 72-year-old female resident A from Namdong-gu and two family members were confirmed positive the day before, raising concerns that door-to-door sales business sites could become new clusters of infection following the Itaewon clubs in Seoul and the Coupang Bucheon logistics center.
A Yeonsu-gu official stated, "Business owners and facility users who do not comply with the gathering ban will be reported according to relevant laws, and treatment and quarantine costs will be claimed."
