According to local media and industry sources on the 5th, one local employee at Samsung Electronics' Noida factory phone line tested positive for COVID-19 the previous day. As a result, Samsung Electronics halted the operation of the phone line for the day.
Samsung Electronics plans to resume operation of the other phone lines, excluding the area where the infected employee worked, on the 6th and 7th, and fully normalize all line operations starting from the 8th.
