[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] Comedian Bae Youngman shed tears as he expressed his disappointment toward his son.

On the morning of the 5th, KBS 1TV's 'Achimmadang' featured Bae Youngman and his son Bae Kangmin.

That day, the cast discussed the topic, "As you get older, do you want to live separately from your children?"

Bae Youngman opened up by saying, "My son wants to live separately, but I want to live together." He confessed, "Living together sometimes makes me upset. My son came into my room and said it smelled like grandpa. That hurt me."

He continued, "If there was a smell, I could have bought an air freshener. When he said it smelled, I put quince there," he explained. In response, Bae Kangmin apologized, saying, "It was a thoughtless comment, and I'm really sorry."

Bae Youngman showed tears as he said, "Raising three kids was tough. But hearing that my son wants to live alone makes all the hardships feel so heartbreaking."

He added, "Even when events were hard, I lived and worked hard thinking of my children. I don't not understand my son, but I'm lonely. Even if I smell like grandpa to my son, if he says 'You smell like grandpa,' I really want to cry," expressing his disappointment and evoking sympathy.
