LS Cable & System Wins Power Cable Order Worth 100 Billion KRW in Singapore

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] LS Cable & System announced on the 5th that it has secured an order for power cables worth a total of 100 billion KRW in Singapore.

With this order, LS Cable & System will supply approximately 400 km of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) cables throughout Singapore by the end of next year. This distance is equivalent to the round-trip cable length between Seoul and Jeonju.

Following the 2017 project, LS Cable & System has consecutively secured the replacement project for aging HV cables from the Singapore Power Authority, solidifying its position as the number one cable company in the Singapore market.

An LS Cable & System official stated, "Singapore is a market where demand for high value-added products continuously arises due to new demand from industrialization and urbanization, as well as the replacement of aging cables, but it is difficult to enter due to strict quality standards. LS Cable & System has maintained its top position based on active investment, operational know-how, and trust with clients through years of cable supply."
