[Asia Economy, reporter Park Jongil] Gangdong District (District Mayor Lee Junghoon) has published two childcare information booklets containing essential information on various childcare policies and local community parenting services, covering everything from childbirth to childrearing.

The Gangdong-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center has produced two parenting information guides: "2020 Our Neighborhood Thorough Childcare Information" and "Where Is It? Here It Is! Full Childcare Information." These booklets are organized to make it easy for expectant mothers and parents of infants and young children to find a wide range of childcare support services and useful parenting information that they might otherwise overlook.

The newly published "2020 Our Neighborhood Thorough Childcare Information" booklet compiles information collected directly by six Gangdong-gu childcare managers, including local playgrounds, toy libraries, open childcare rooms, and other community resources that caregivers can use with their children. It also introduces the programs offered by the Gangdong-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center and provides childcare information categorized by life stage and target group-all in a single volume.

The "Where Is It? Here It Is! Full Childcare Information" booklet serves as a comprehensive parenting guide, including information on ▲childcare support services ▲childcare assistance services ▲local parenting resources, and other helpful information for parents of infants and young children.

The two childcare information booklets published by the district are available for anyone to view on the Gangdong Children's Center website (Community → Childcare Information). They will also be placed at frequently visited locations such as the Gangdong Children's Center and I-Mom Gangdong Childcare City, where parents and children often visit.

Lee Junghoon, Mayor of Gangdong District, stated, "I hope these childcare information booklets, which conveniently organize a variety of information needed for childbirth and parenting, will be helpful to parents of infants and young children," adding, "We will continue to do our best to create a childcare-friendly environment where it is easy to have and raise children."
