[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte Department Store Mall will open the ‘Dunhill’ brand hall, a British luxury fashion brand operated by Richemont Korea, on the 8th. This is the first time that ‘Dunhill’ has officially entered a domestic online mall, becoming the fourth luxury brand to join Lotte Department Store Mall this year, following Emporio Armani, Versace, and Atestoni.
Dunhill, established in London in 1893, is a British luxury menswear brand that values designs combining style and practicality. Recently, it has transformed into a younger and trendier brand image.
At the Dunhill brand hall in Lotte Department Store Mall, over 150 lines will be showcased, ranging from popular items from the 2020 S/S (Spring/Summer) season to products worn by celebrities. The representative item of this season is a cropped wrap jacket that combines classic British style with a relaxed silhouette, emphasizing curves and volume, one of the Dunhill men's collection pieces. You can also find bomber jackets, hoodies, and T-shirts designed in blue and white tones from the Blue Capsule Collection aimed at the summer season.
Meanwhile, Lotte Department Store Mall, which opened in August 2019, currently offers 88,000 products from over 600 brands. It differentiates itself from other online malls by combining the trustworthiness of a department store and expertise in brand management in the continuously growing premium online market.
The luxury products at Lotte Department Store Mall are officially imported by the brand headquarters and shipped from department store outlets. They can be serviced and exchanged at brand-operated stores just like products sold offline. Additionally, online purchases come with luxurious packaging, providing the same level of service as offline shopping.
