The Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (President Son Bong-su, hereinafter referred to as KAIA) announced on the 4th that it has continuously conducted the "COVID-19 Related Blood Donation Campaign" (hereinafter referred to as the campaign) for five days starting from the 1st of this month, following the campaign held last February.

This campaign was carried out on the blood donation bus of the Korean Red Cross to help overcome the blood supply crisis caused by the sharp decline in blood donations due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation. The KAIA Labor Union (Union Chairman Gyeong Je-woon) actively supported the promotion of the campaign to encourage more employees to participate in consecutive blood donations.

In particular, employees participated in blood donation while strictly adhering to infectious disease prevention guidelines such as maintaining appropriate spacing in line, wearing masks, hand sanitization, and temperature checks during the campaign, in accordance with the "social distancing in daily life" behavioral rules.

President Son Bong-su conveyed a hopeful message, saying, "I hope this blood donation participation will help overcome the blood supply crisis, and we will actively participate in various volunteer activities to overcome COVID-19."

Meanwhile, KAIA is striving to share the difficulties of the local community through voluntary donations and participation in blood donation campaigns related to overcoming COVID-19.
