According to the fire authorities on the 4th, at around 6:31 PM the previous day, a girl named A fell from the veranda of the 11th floor of an apartment in Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju.
As a result of the accident, A was injured and transported to the hospital by the 119 emergency medical team but died during treatment. It is known that A was alone at home at the time.
According to the police investigation, there was no suspicion of abuse or other criminal charges.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident with A's parents and others.
