Hampyeong Fire Station Conducts 'Firefighting Tactics Training Evaluation' for On-Site Responders

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Hampyeong Fire Station (Chief Im Donghyun) announced on the 4th that it conducted the 2020 first half fire tactics training evaluation for on-site dispatch personnel on the 3rd.

This fire tactics training evaluation was promoted to strengthen individual tactical skills and improve on-site response capabilities in preparation for the recent series of large-scale fire accidents.

The evaluation events were conducted in a way to assess essential tactical skills that on-site personnel must have, such as the four-person fire suppression method, wearing self-contained breathing apparatus, and casualty transport methods.

Im Donghyun, Chief of Hampyeong Fire Station, said, “Firefighters are always exposed to danger at various disaster sites, so consistent training and physical fitness management are necessary,” and added, “We will nurture strong firefighters through education and training to ensure the safety of Hampyeong residents.”
