BTS Edition Launching on ARMY Foundation Day
Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+ Package

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samsung Electronics is collaborating with BTS to release a limited edition 'Galaxy BTS Edition' consisting of the purple Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy Buds+.
On the 3rd (local time), IT Twitter user Max Weinbach revealed images of the purple Galaxy Buds+ obtained through the Galaxy Buds+ plugin on the Google Play Store.
The case of the purple Galaxy Buds+ is engraved with the Samsung and BTS logos, and the top of the earbuds also features a logo and a heart. Although Samsung Electronics has not disclosed the specific product name of the BTS Edition, it is expected to be sold as a package combining the Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+.
Samsung Electronics will conduct pre-orders for the Galaxy BTS Edition from the 19th of this month until July 5th. The release date is July 9th. The BTS Edition, engraved with the purple heart symbolizing BTS's fan club 'ARMY,' will be released on the fan club's founding day.
Pre-orders will initially be conducted in South Korea, with plans to release the BTS Edition in Europe later. It will be sold through stores such as Fnac, a French retailer of books, music, and electronics. Since Samsung Mobile released teaser images at the end of last month, BTS global fans have shown interest, and it is expected to gain popularity comparable to the Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition.
Since early this year, Samsung Electronics has formed a partnership with BTS and has carried out various collaborations. From the unpack event unveiling the Galaxy S20, videos featuring BTS were released, and marketing activities were conducted through SNS with videos of BTS using the Galaxy S20 series.
