[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] EbioTeco announced on the 4th that its mouthwash maker 'Jayeon Gargle Plus' demonstrated 99.9% antibacterial efficacy in experimental results.
According to the company, after filling the device with tap water and generating electrolyzed water using Jayeon Gargle Plus, they sprayed it onto plastic and fabric surfaces. Tests conducted by a specialized institution confirmed 99.9% antibacterial effectiveness against E. coli, Staphylococcus, and pneumonia bacteria. EbioTeco holds a patent related to platinum catalyst electrolysis technology used in mouthwash manufacturing that enhances antibacterial effects.
Through experiments, the product is expected to expand its usage as a non-toxic antibacterial agent for preventing oral diseases such as cavities, gingivitis, and bad breath, as well as for clothing, kitchens, and pets.
Kwon Hyukgeun, Vice President of EbioTeco, stated, “The Jayeon Gargle maker is a product aimed at preventing viral infections and is gaining more attention overseas. Based on its 99.9% antibacterial power against everyday bacteria like E. coli and pneumonia bacteria, we plan to expand sales channels primarily through online malls and department stores.”
