Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Nosa Minjeong Council Pledges to Revitalize Local Economy


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Nosa-Minjeong Council of Gwangsan District, Gwangju Metropolitan City, held its first plenary session of 2020 on the 3rd and adopted the "Declaration of Practice for Win-Win Cooperation to Prevent COVID-19 and Revitalize the Local Economy."


According to Gwangsan District on the 3rd, the declaration of practice embodies the will of various sectors of Nosa-Minjeong to overcome the economic crisis caused by COVID-19 based on the spirit of coexistence.


The labor side pledged to participate in building a reasonable labor market to improve corporate productivity and create jobs for future generations, while the management side committed to efforts to stabilize employment.


Along with this, seven projects including "Creating a Good Workplace Where Work is Enjoyable" will be promoted as part of this year's Nosa-Minjeong revitalization projects.


Kim Samho, Mayor of Gwangsan District, said, "Labor-management coexistence is important to overcome the local economic crisis caused by COVID-19," and added, "I hope the Nosa-Minjeong Council will serve as a focal point to spread hope to the local economy."
