[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] A woman in her 40s was booked by the police for blocking the entrance to an apartment parking lot with her car for 14 hours out of frustration after a conflict with the management office over a parking card registration issue.

The Pyeongtaek Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 3rd that they booked Ms. A on charges including obstruction of business.

Ms. A is suspected of having an argument with a management office employee at her apartment in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, on the 1st, and then, out of dissatisfaction, parking her car at the entrance to the parking lot.

It was investigated that the conflict arose when Ms. A tried to enter the parking lot without the parking card that was supposed to be issued by the apartment management office.

Due to Ms. A's actions, the entrance to the apartment parking lot was blocked for 14 hours from 8 p.m. on the 1st until 10 a.m. the next day.

It was reported that Ms. A only moved her car after the police arrived. The apartment complex is confirmed to have about 700 households.

The police stated, "We are investigating the specific details, including why she acted that way."
