Jeonbuk Sports Council Ensures Thorough Disinfection of Sports Hall

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] The Jeonbuk Sports Council has stepped up preventive measures to fully block 'COVID-19'.

According to the Sports Council on the 3rd, as the prevention of 'COVID-19' spread shifted from social distancing to everyday distancing, sports facilities such as the gym inside the provincial sports council building, which had been closed, were recently reopened.

Accordingly, as the number of residents visiting the sports council building increased, the provincial sports council decided to further strengthen the existing COVID-19 preventive management.

Some entrances of the sports council building will be closed, and to monitor visitors, elevators will be controlled with a system confirmed and established to make them stop mandatorily on the 1st floor.

For example, even if a user boards the elevator from basement level 1 to go to the 5th floor, the elevator will automatically stop at the 1st floor.

On the 1st floor, sports council staff will use non-contact thermometers to check for fever and require visitors to fill out a guest log.

Additionally, hand sanitizers will be provided, and elevators, restrooms, and other areas will be disinfected daily. The sports council building will undergo full disinfection once a week.

A sports council official said, "The sports council will not let down its guard in COVID-19 prevention," adding, "Since the health and safety of residents are the top priority, we will continue to prevent and re-prevent until it is completely eradicated."
