Nature Republic Wins Two Awards at Glowpick Awards


[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Nature Republic (CEO Jung Woon-ho), which delivers beauty energy found in the world's pristine nature, announced on the 3rd that it was selected as the 'Winner' in two categories?Brightening Essence and Moisturizing & Nourishing Shampoo?at the '2020 First Half Awards' conducted by Glowpick, a cosmetics ranking and review platform.


The Glowpick Awards are Korea's first 100% consumer-driven beauty ranking awards. Glowpick analyzed approximately 370,000 consumer reviews registered in the first half of this year and announced the most loved top beauty products in each category. The honored Nature Republic products are the ‘Vitapair C Blemish Serum’ and the ‘Black Bean Anti Hair Loss Shampoo.’


The Vitapair C Blemish Serum, launched as a seasonal flagship product last March, attracted significant consumer interest even before its release through a one-month usage challenge conducted with beauty YouTubers. It sold out 3,000 units in 25 minutes on social markets and recorded sales of 20,000 units within ten days, showing a steady upward trend to date. This product is a whitening functional blemish care serum containing 79.9% Jeju green lemon extract and centella asiatica (cica) ingredients, which brighten dull skin, smooth the texture, and care for firm skin all at once.


The Black Bean Anti Hair Loss Shampoo is creating a reverse surge solely based on word-of-mouth for its quality and cost-effectiveness. It is a hair loss relief functional product containing eight black complex ingredients, including black bean extract, black rice, and sesame, which help nourish the scalp and hair. Peat water, effective in absorbing sebum, effectively cares for waste products on the hair and scalp.
