[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Naivek announced on the 3rd that it will participate in BioUSA, hosted by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) in the United States, for five days starting from the 8th. This event will be held as a non-face-to-face event, transitioning to a 'Bio Digital' format utilizing virtual meetings.
BioUSA is an annual event hosted by the Biotechnology Industry Organization, inviting pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies as well as industry experts to present development achievements and discuss business cooperation. This year, due to COVID-19, it will be conducted in a 'Bio Digital' format through virtual meetings in a non-face-to-face manner.
Naivek has been selected as a presenter for the 'Corporate Presentation' session at this event. They plan to present research results on their main technology, the peptide-based platform system, as well as key pipelines such as fibrosis therapeutics and anticancer drugs, including the efficacy of the COVID-19 treatment 'NIPEP-ACOV.'
A company representative stated, “Among the pipelines, the pulmonary fibrosis treatment, inflammatory bowel disease treatment, and targeted cell-selective permeable anticancer treatment are progressing rapidly in development," adding, "Since global pharmaceutical companies and biotechnology firms have high interest in these key pipelines, meetings are scheduled with about 50 companies, including the global top 10 pharmaceutical companies.”
They continued, "Follow-up meetings related to ongoing projects with global pharmaceutical companies we have been working with will also be held," and added, “Peptide-based inflammatory disease and anticancer therapeutics have demonstrated excellent safety and efficacy even at the preclinical stage, attracting significant interest in the pharmaceutical market. Therefore, we plan to focus on expanding business connections with global partners through this event.”
Naivek plans to focus on expanding the technology transfer network for the new drugs under development and securing global companies as partners through this event.
