Lim Young-woong Effect Hits Hard... Ssangyong Motor Creates Brand Photo Shoot This Time


[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Ssangyong Motor announced on the 3rd that it will produce and present a brand photo shoot featuring the unique charm of ‘Mr. Trot’ Lim Young-woong and his first car, the G4 Rexton, as a token of gratitude for customers' support and love.


Titled ‘Rexton X I’m Hero,’ this photo shoot showcases Lim Young-woong’s unexpected charm with monochromatic fashion and the sophisticated urban image of the White Edition of the authentic sports utility vehicle (SUV), the G4 Rexton.


Lim Young-woong, the winner of ‘Tomorrow’s Mr. Trot,’ is the owner and advertising model of the first G4 Rexton White Edition vehicle. According to a Ssangyong Motor official, the advertising copy “Life is just starting to get fun” aptly expresses the second act of his life as a superstar.

Lim Young-woong said, “I am happy to be able to show a different side of myself through Rexton, another connection from Mr. Trot,” adding, “I guess this day has come because I never lost my dreams and have always enjoyed every moment.”


The G4 Rexton, with Lim Young-woong as its model, saw a significant sales increase, with 1,089 units sold in May, a 61% rise compared to the previous month.


The specially produced photo shoot and bromides will be presented starting from the 3rd to customers who sign new car purchase contracts.
