[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, temperatures are expected to rise sharply on the 3rd, with some areas exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.
Rain that started falling across the country from the afternoon of the 2nd will continue until the early morning of the 3rd, with precipitation expected to range from 5mm to a maximum of 10mm. Jeju Island may experience occasional raindrops in the afternoon as well.
After the rain stops, temperatures will rise significantly. The daytime temperature in Seoul will reach 28 degrees Celsius, about 6 to 7 degrees higher than today, and some areas south of Chungcheong Province are expected to exceed 30 degrees Celsius.
The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between 16 and 20 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high between 23 and 32 degrees Celsius.
Due to smooth atmospheric dispersion, fine dust levels are expected to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions.
Strong winds of 30 to 45 km/h are expected in the mountainous areas of Gangwon Province until the morning, so caution is advised regarding facility management and safety accidents.
The weather is expected to become increasingly hotter toward the end of the week.
