Recruitment of Entrepreneurs in Specialized Fields Such as Alcohol, Cafes, and Desserts Until June 10
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] As part of the urban regeneration project to revitalize the commercial district around the terminal, Suncheon City is promoting its first project, ‘Ju(YA) Jangcheon’.
The first project, ‘Ju(YA) Jangcheon,’ is a business that leases vacant buildings behind Suncheon Intercity Bus Terminal for a certain period, creates spaces, and provides startup opportunities to hopefuls with innovative ideas.
The recruitment target is two teams of individuals (or groups) who want to start a business in specialized fields such as local-based alcoholic beverages, cafes, and desserts. After document screening and PT presentations, the final selected teams will be provided with startup spaces for two years and receive consulting support.
Those who wish to participate can visit the Jangcheon-dong Urban Regeneration Field Support Center (2nd floor of Jangcheon-dong Administrative Welfare Center) or submit an application via email (jcdurban@naver.com) by June 10. A Suncheon City official stated, “This project is the first shared economy-type business attempted in the Jangcheon-dong project area and is expected to serve as a catalyst to revitalize the declining alleys,” adding, “We look forward to the participation of many entrepreneurs with innovative content in related fields.”
