Hyundai Steel, 'Dangjin Partners' Launch Ceremony

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The 'Dangjin Partners' volunteer group, consisting of 36 representatives from in-house partner companies at Hyundai Steel Dangjin Steelworks, held an inauguration ceremony on the 2nd and began their activities. The Dangjin Partners volunteer group was formed through the voluntary participation of representatives from in-house partner companies.

The volunteer group, established for the development of the Dangjin community, plans to carry out various volunteer activities such as local environmental cleanup, revitalization of local commercial districts, school zone traffic safety campaigns, and support for the housing and living of elderly living alone.

The inauguration ceremony was held with the participation of 12 partner company representatives, including Choi Seok-dong, Chief Secretary of Dangjin City. The volunteer group is led by Chairman Lee Chan-hee (CEO of Airon Tech), who is also the head of the In-house Partner Companies Council.

Chairman Lee Chan-hee stated, "We will reach out to our neighbors through various volunteer activities," and added, "We will continue to carry out ongoing volunteer work through interest and sharing in the local community."
