[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] The world tour of "The Phantom of the Opera" will conclude its Seoul performances on August 7 and open its Daegu performances on August 19.

The "Phantom of the Opera" world tour faced disruptions in its schedule due to the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). As a result, the Seoul performance schedule was extended until August 8, but with the confirmation of the Daegu performance dates, the Seoul schedule was shortened by one day.

Tickets for the Seoul performances from July 4 to 24 will be available starting at 2 PM on the 12th through all ticketing platforms including Paybook, Wemakeprice, Interpark, Yes24, Melon Ticket, Hana Ticket, Ticket 11st, and Auction. Early bird discounts of up to 20% (limited to BC Card payments) are available for reservations made by the 18th. Tickets for the last two weeks of Seoul performances until August 7 are expected to open at the end of this month.

However, BC Card Paybook will exclusively open all tickets, including those for the final performance on August 7, during the pre-sale period. Paybook sales will open at 2 PM on the 8th, offering discounts of up to 40% (limited to BC Card payments). Detailed information can be found on the BC Card Paybook website.

The final city for the Korean performances, Daegu, will host the show from August 19 to September 27 at the Keimyung Art Center. Tickets will open at 2 PM on the 19th. Performances from August 19 to 30 can be reserved through Wemakeprice, Interpark, Yes24, Hana Ticket, Auction Ticket, Melon Ticket, Ticket 11st, and others.

The Phantom of the Opera world tour team stated that they will thoroughly implement strict health protocols including regular disinfection, mandatory mask-wearing, fever monitoring through thermal imaging cameras and contactless temperature checks, health questionnaires, and limiting close contact between audience members and performers to prepare a flawless performance.
