YG Entertainment stated on the 2nd, "As a result of internal investigation, we have confirmed that Lisa was a victim of fraud by her former manager Mr. A."

They added, "Since he was a trusted former manager, according to Lisa’s wish for an amicable resolution, Mr. A has repaid part of the amount and, after agreeing on a repayment plan for the remainder, has now resigned."

They continued, "We are very dismayed by Mr. A’s actions, which abused the trust relationship with the artist, and we deeply acknowledge our responsibility for management and supervision."

The amount of fraud damages Lisa suffered is reported to be in the 1 billion won range.

Meanwhile, Lisa debuted as a member of BLACKPINK in 2016 and has been active since then.
