[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] Animal trainer Kang Hyungwook succeeded in bathing Cheondungi, who has extreme aggression.

On the 1st, KBS 2TV entertainment show 'Dogs Are Incredible' featured Kang Hyungwook training Cheondungi, a problem dog with severe biting and aggression.

That day, Cheondungi's owner revealed, "He barks at strangers. No one can come into our house. A friend came over and he even bit their face."

Cheondungi was highly wary of the production staff, eventually causing the pre-filming to be halted. Kang Hyungwook analyzed, "You have to watch his tail carefully. He’s not barking out of fear, but as if to show off, saying 'Do you think you can challenge me?'"

The owner tearfully said, "I brought Cheondungi home when he was one month old, so I’m very attached. Seeing Cheondungi with such aggression breaks my heart. I think it’s all my fault. He hates being touched, so naturally, we couldn’t even put a muzzle on him."

In response, Kang Hyungwook said, "Owners like this don’t get proper training. They have a lot of compassion and take care of everything, preventing the dog from experiencing what it needs to." He explained, "Cheondungi shows intentional aggression. He’s not afraid of any situation right now."

The full training began, and Cheondungi continued to show aggression. Kang Hyungwook even brought out a snare for the first time to train Cheondungi, but it was not enough to control him.

Kang Hyungwook firmly restrained Cheondungi again to assert dominance, and finally caught him with the snare. Cheondungi resisted so violently that he bit his own tongue until it bled. He bit the owner trying to put on the muzzle and even broke the muzzle.

Kang Hyungwook said, "Many people lose fingers when putting muzzles on dogs like this. Still, I didn’t want to show giving up," and continued the training.

The owner said, "I’ve never seen this side of him before. Seeing this made me realize I have to change," showing determination, and eventually succeeded in putting the muzzle on Cheondungi.

Then, Kang Hyungwook suggested bathing Cheondungi. Surprisingly, Cheondungi, wearing the muzzle, calmly accepted the bath.

Kang Hyungwook advised, "In dog training, if the owner doesn’t give up, nothing is impossible. The owner’s will is the most important."
