Sahmyook University and Guri City Jointly Promote GTX B Line Stop at Galmae Station

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Samyook University announced on the 2nd that it will jointly promote the stop of Galmae Station on the GTX B Line of the Seoul Metropolitan Area Express Railway with Guri City. According to the agreement, Samyook University and Guri City will jointly propose and cooperate to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to ensure that the plan and project approval notice reflecting the stop at Guri City on the GTX B Line can be made. The GTX B Line is a project to build an express railway with a speed of over 100 km/h on an 80 km section from Songdo International City passing through Yeouido, Yongsan, Seoul Station, and Cheongnyangni to Maseok in Namyangju. Although it passes through the Guri area, there is no stop station, and efforts are being made to improve this. Kim Ilmok, president of Samyook University, said, "Based on the metropolitan transportation network, we will work together so that Samyook University and neighboring Guri City can develop jointly."
