[Photo] Kim Su-young, Yangcheon District Mayor, Holds Emergency Meeting on Academy Area COVID-19 Cases

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 1st, Kim Su-young, Mayor of Yangcheon-gu, and officials from Yangcheon-gu Office held an emergency countermeasure meeting at the 4th floor Gonggam Planning Office of Yangcheon-gu Office to respond quickly to the occurrence of confirmed cases in the metropolitan area academy districts.

As of the 31st of last month, it was found that 28 confirmed cases, including instructors, staff, and students, occurred at 7 academies and private tutoring centers.

Accordingly, Yangcheon-gu announced that it will hold an urgent emergency countermeasure meeting to prepare for the possibility of confirmed cases in the academy districts and will thoroughly inspect whether local academies comply with quarantine rules.
