[Photo] Yangcheon-gu Takes Action for Disinfection in Mokdong Academy District

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Officials from Yangcheon-gu Office and Mok 5-dong Community Service Center, along with the Yangcheon-gu Saemaeul Leaders' Association and the Village Love Room Volunteer Group, conducted disinfection in the academy district of Mokdong on the afternoon of the 1st.

According to the quarantine authorities on the 1st, as of the 31st, 28 confirmed cases including instructors, staff, and students were reported at seven academies and private tutoring centers.

In response, Yangcheon-gu held an emergency countermeasure meeting to prepare for the possibility of confirmed cases in the academy district and announced plans to inspect compliance with quarantine rules and carry out disinfection in local academies.
